The epoxy/graphite mixture turns black as it cures.
Add to resin/hardener mixture at 10% by volume or 1.5 tablespoons to 8 fl oz. of epoxy.
Used as a coating on rudders, daggerboards or bottoms of dry sail racing boats.
Caution: does not provide antifouling quality.
Graphite powder can also be used in teak deck construction to simulate the look of traditional joints and protect resins from sunlight.
