What you need:
- WEST SYSTEM 105 epoxy resin
- Hardener 206 or 205 WEST SYSTEM
- Charge 405 WEST SYSTEM
- WEST SYSTEM dosing pump
- Mixing spatula
- Mixing pot
- Teak slat
- Acetone type degreaser
- Clamps and wedges
Steps:
- Degrease the wooden parts using a brush with acetone.< /p>
- Prepare an epoxy mixture using the dosing pumps.
1 pressure of resin = 1 pressure of hardener.
- Mix the resin well with the hardener for 2 minutes with a spatula, remembering to scrape the edges of the pot.
- Impregnate the wooden pieces by applying a thin layer of the mixture.
- Prepare an epoxy mixture a second time by adding load 405 until you obtain a texture of "butter peanut."
- Spread the mixture on the wood to glue them and place them on top of each other.
- Place the blocks and clamps to hold the pieces together.
- Follow the instructions and the curing time according to the hardener chosen.
- After polymerization, sand and plan your part to the desired dimensions.
