INFORMATION

If you wish to make cutouts, we advise you to first create your work surface and then, once completed, make your cutouts. The opposite would be difficult to achieve!

MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Teak slats (ref. PT7030)
  • CRST epoxy glue (ref. CRST)
  • Belt or rotary sander
  • Clamps
  • A paintbrush
  • Acetone

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

- Degrease the tongues and grooves using acetone so that they are clean and free of dirt.

- Make sure the tongues and grooves are dry.

STEP 2

- Assemble your work surface blank (without glue).

STEP 3

- Using your brush, place CRST epoxy glue on the tabs.

NB: Mix the epoxy glue for a ratio of 1 volume to 1 volume by eye (see technical sheet).

STEP 4

- Assemble your glued boards together.

STEP 5

- Once your boards are assembled and glued, press them using a clamp. Allow 3 days for complete bonding.

STEP 6

- Once gluing is complete, sand your work surface and make the planned cuts if there are any cuts.
