Epoxy/graphite is commonly used as a low-load, low-speed bearing surface, as a coating on rudders and daggerboards, or on the bottom of racing boats that run dry.

It does not have anti-fouling properties.
The epoxy/graphite mixture turns black as it cures.

Used as a coating on rudders, daggerboards or bottoms of dry sail racing boats.

Caution: does not provide antifouling quality.

Graphite powder can also be used in teak deck construction to simulate the look of traditional joints and protect resins from sunlight.
