Vacuum infusion molding

Vacuum infusion is a technique used in the nautical industry, wind energy... This process allows the mass production of large parts (airplane, windmill, boat hull...). Vacuum infusion molding consists in putting under vacuum, in a mold closed by a tarpaulin, dry reinforcements which are impregnated with resin which is sucked by the depression created in the mold.

The advantages

Improve the resistance of the composite
Saves weight
Use of just the right amount of resin (better strength to weight ratio)
Production of large and small parts in one-shot
