Epoxy resin WEST SYSTEM

WEST SYSTEM is a company with 50 years of experience in epoxy. The WEST SYSTEM range is high quality, versatile products that can be modified to offer unlimited products. Ideal for construction and repair requiring increased resistance to moisture and naval stress. For repairing and building boats made of fibreglass, wood, aluminium, steel, composite materials, ferrocement and polyester.
An innovative dosing system

The pump system has been developed for precise and convenient dispensing of 105 resin and hardeners. They guarantee precise dosing of the resin/hardener mixture and eliminate all the mess associated with manual dosing. The pumps mount directly on the resin and hardener cans and are calibrated to deliver the correct ratio of epoxy at each pump pressure. Please note that the pumps are not the same depending on the hardener you are using and the packaging you have chosen!
Advantages of the epoxy WEST SYSTEM

These products are waterproof, shrinkage-free, softer, better adhesion on all materials ...

Epoxy resin West System

Multi-purpose two-component epoxy resin pack for permanent waterproof bonding of many materials. Easy to use, ideal for small repairs around the boat, in the workshop, in the garage or at home.

  • Resins

Resin 105 is the basic component of WEST SYSTEM products. It is a transparent, pale yellow, low viscosity liquid resin. When mixed with one of the WEST SYSTEM hardeners, it can be used to impregnate wood fibers, glass fibers and a variety of materials. It can harden over a wide range of temperatures to form a very tough solid with excellent moisture resistance.

There are several packages of resin base 105 that you can choose from when you are on the product sheet.

  • Hardeners

There are different hardeners according to your needs (fast, slow, for coating and UV protection, extra slow). For each size of resin canister, there is one size of hardener and mini pumps. Make sure that all cans have the same letter corresponding to the same packaging (e.g. A, B, C, D).

There are several packages of hardener that you can choose from when you are on the product sheet.

  • Loads

Adjust the strength, weight, texture, sandability and color of the cured epoxy with one of the eight WEST SYSTEM fillers. Adjust the viscosity of the resin/hardener mixture according to the amount of filler added.

There are several packages of fillers that you can choose from when you are on the product sheet.

  • Additives

Additives are mixed with the epoxy to modify its physical properties. Additives can be used to modify the color or the abrasion or moisture resistance of the cured epoxy.

  • Fabrics

Tissues are specifically reinforcing materials. These fabrics are very strong, they have a high capacity to withstand tensile stress and compressive loads. WEST SYSTEM fabrics are periodically tested to ensure excellence and quality that meets the highest standards.

  • Application Tools

WEST SYSTEM tools are reusable plastic tools. The epoxy does not adhere to the plastic because of its smooth surface. We offer a wide range of tools that will allow you to carry out your work with complete peace of mind!
